ANDREA KLEINE
Special Solo Dance Performance
(15 minutes)
Andrea Kleine has presented her dance and performance works extensively in
NYC at venues such as Performance Space 122, Danspace Project, the Kitchen,
DIA Center for the Arts, and Franklin Furnace, among others. Her work has
also been presented at various festival including the Red Eye
Theatre/Isolated Acts (Minneapolis), Cleveland Performance Art Festival, The
National Women's Theatre Festival (Philadelphia), the Internationales
Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival (Germany), and the New York Platform of the VI
Rencontres Choregraphiques Internationales de Seine-St.-Denis/Bangolet
Choreography Competition. Kleine is a 2000 Mabou Mines resident artist.
Her video based work was recently added to the Walker Art Center's
Mediateque Archive.
